Puente de Esperanza

“Puente de Esperanza” by Marengo is one of the gems compiled by DJ Trujillo in ‘Ritmo Fantasía’, a tribute to balearic hits from the ’80s and ’90s that explores forgotten corners of the Spanish music scene.

Juan R. “Marengo” Medina from Málaga wrote the song back in 1986 inspired by the love of his life – his wife Carmen. He also produced the accompanying video, shot on a beach in Marbella, which is featured in Binalogue’s 2021 production.

We partnered with our friends at Soundway Records to produce the new music video for ‘Puente de Esperanza’, directed by Denise Moreno and featuring the magnificent performances of Anna Engerström and Wing Yue Leung in the middle of a London funfair.
