On & off-air campaign
2018 sees the 15th edition of ‘Muestra SYFY‘, a movie festival hosted by SYFY for fantasy, horror, animation and sci-fi movie lovers alike. Muestra SYFY takes place in one of Madrid’s most iconic landmarks – the ‘Palacio de la Prensa‘ theater -, right smack in the city centre and during 4 days delivers a hearty dose of killer cult films across three screening rooms where anything from chanting to cosplay is allowed… and sought after.
NBCUniversal approached us to co-conceptualize, direct and produce the entire expectation and launch campaign for this year’s edition of Muestra SYFY.

Muestra SYFY
SYFY stayed true to its motto “it’s a fan thing” and invited fans all over Spain to participate in a casting out of which the protagonists of the on-air and outdoor campaign were chosen. We shot the three lucky fans and then brought them into the aesthetic universe of comics to create a colorful, action-driven and all round fun campaign which was not only displayed all over Madrid’s centre but also became trending topic and widely praised by media.
